Building on a strong foundation in IT Support and technical assistance, I have transitioned into a specialised Infrastructure Engineering role in the defence sector. I combine my experience in troubleshooting and solving problems with modern practices. I love to build, run and deploy containerised applications and I am also a keen homlab enthusiast in my spare time.

Infrastructure Engineer

Xewli Ltd | January 2024 - Present

Openshift Kubernetes: Engineered and administered a single-node OpenShift cluster on bare-metal NUC. Supporting a multi-application containerised system.
Managed the full lifecycle of pods, deployments, and services in an air-gapped environment including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cluster performance, networking, and security.
Managing container registry and ensuring image security.

IT Support Engineer

Managing M365 environments, including user lifecycle management and licensing

HomeLab

Hardware: Intel NUCs for high-compute tasks and Raspberry Pi nodes for lightweight instances.
Virtualisation: Running Proxmox VE as a primary hypervisor to manage linux VMs.
Development: using my Mac as a primary workstation for local Docker development and Git-based version control.
Creating strong documentation in markdown for READMEs.
